About Anchor Internal Medicine
Anchor Internal Medicine was founded by Shannon Kazman, NP and David Martin, NP, two experienced nurse practitioners who believe healthcare should always be personal, respectful, and rooted in trust.
Between us, we bring years of experience in primary care, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, interventional radiology, cardiology, and surgical services. That broad background allows us to see the full picture of each patient’s health — not just a single symptom or condition.
After working in larger healthcare systems, we wanted to build something better: a place where patients are truly heard, respected, and cared for. At Anchor, every visit matters. We take time to listen, explain, and partner with you on your health journey.

At Anchor Internal Medicine, we provide comprehensive primary care for adults, focused on prevention, early detection, and long-term wellness. We take the time to listen, explain, and make sure every patient feels seen and understood.

Routine physicals and annual wellness visits
Management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and heart disease
Hormone Replacement Therapy - for men and women (including Biote implants)
Acute care for minor illnesses and injuries
Preventive screenings and lab testing
Medication management and refills
Health education and lifestyle support to promote lasting wellness
Mental Health Services - coming soon we will have a new psychiatric nurse practitioner on staff full time

Insurance & Payment information
At Anchor Internal Medicine, we believe quality care should be accessible and straightforward.
We proudly accept all PPO insurance plans, including Medicare PPO programs. If you’re unsure whether your plan is covered, please give our office a call — our team is happy to confirm your benefits before your visit.
For patients without insurance, we offer a cash pay option at $75 per appointment.
Please note: We do not currently accept Medicaid plans.
Our goal is to keep things simple and transparent, so you can focus on your health — not the paperwork.
Location
You’ll find Anchor Internal Medicine on the first floor of a beautifully restored two-story building in Merritt Island, Florida. The property features cobblestone drives, lush landscaping, and a warmly renovated interior that feels calm and welcoming from the moment you arrive.
Our entrance is easy to find — just look for the front door pictured here, framed by classic white columns and brick walkways. We chose this space because it reflects who we are: professional, approachable, and centered on comfort and care. We are located south of 520 on Courtenay Blvd. Travel south approximately ½ of a mile and we are on the left side of the street just passed Cone Road (next to the Stucky's Gas Station).
